SnowPak for SCADA Systems

This computer monitor and control system is custom-designed for medium and large snowmaking systems, and is currently in operation at some of the largest ski areas in North America including resorts in Colorado, Alaska, and New York.

Some features include:

  • Real-time monitoring and control of the system distributed over distances sometimes exceeding 5 miles.
  • Built-in pre-programmed automatic and semi-automatic control functions base on operational conditions to protect equipment, manage power, and operate efficiently.

  • Alarming and annunciation based on user configured set points.
  • Supervisory reporting including shift reports, trending, quantified reports correlated to operational efficiency, etc.
  • Remote monitoring for supervisor dial-in.

A cost-effective snowmaking monitor package suitable for a wide range of custom monitoring applications, TrendPak has been developed by IST with built-in flexibility, to allow the user to set up and configure their system.

IST has designed a weather station specifically for snowmaking operations.

The weather station is supplied in different configurations of temperature, humidity, wet bulb temperature, wind speed, wind direction. Some unique features include:IST - Weather Station

Complete station will run on 24VAC/VDC or 120/230VAC. 50/60 Hz.
